For Lucky

To everyone who knew our beloved dog, Lucky; he passed away this morning. =(

Our family is in a solemn state of sadness at the moment. ;c

Lucky was given to our family by a random kid as a birthday gift for my mom.

Since he was really little when he was given to us, my mom decided that they will share birthdays.

He was named "Lucky", because his favorite food was lucky me chicken noodles, and the fact that he was the only survivor among his siblings.

Lucky was very tiny and sickly when he was young.

I remember nudging him to wake up everytime he's too weak and he falls asleep, because I was afraid he wouldn't wake up.

When his illness became severe to the point he didn't want to drink water, I decided to buy him a little chewbone.

The chewbone was a miracle. Upon seeing it, little lucky immediately ran to it at played with it with so much energy like he weren't ill.

And so from that moment on, he became as healthy as ever. He grew bigger and bigger very fast, and he was such a happy and lovable dog.

My uncle said he probably has a trace of the Lhasa Apso (spellcheck) breed, since his hair was really long and flowing. But Askal or not, we loved him just the same.

He loved to play with our cats, Miko and Doobi, like they were his plushie toys.

My mom loved him like he was her own child, the youngest in our family. We loved him like he was our little brother.

The memories we shared with Lucky could not entirely be put to words.

He shall stay in our hearts forever, and he will always be loved and remembered as part of our family.
